Catch Up

Keeping up on a blog is pretty hard.  It just seems like there is so much going on, so much to do, so many children that need me etc. etc.  How does one keep up? I'm still trying to find the answer to that question.  This post is a little bit of everything that was going on the last few weeks of life.  I'm determined to keep up with it because I try and put all these memories in a book (which I'm behind on too). Anyway, these first pictures are of a race that I did with my buddy Jen.  It was a half marathon and I wanted to do it just because I really wanted to fit in a long run, but I didn't want it to be boring.  This was anything but boring as you can clearly see.  I thought running in a disco dress might be difficult along with the blond wig but it actually wasn't too bad and goes to prove that anything goes when you run.  It was flippin cold at the beginning but things warmed up and it was actually a pretty run.

Now some random pictures of my curly headed boy.  Melt my heart. Right out of the bathtub his hair just curls right up and I have a lot of fun gelling it up and making it as curly as possible.  Rob questions whether it is time to cut his hair but there is no way that is EVER happening as long as this cute curl is there.  Yep, he might just have long hair and for some reason I'm fine with that.

My sister has a son who is a senior who also plays football.  We played them in the playoffs which was really fun because we beat them. :) It wasn't so fun for them but it was fun to see them play and to see some of my family.

This is my cute "little" nephew who is a great kid and a really awesome football player.
This was the second to last game for Brandon.  He has put his heart and soul into football and given it his all.  There have been disappointments along the way put I am proud of him for sticking it out and not giving up.  He was really sad when the season ended and so were we.

Pumpkin carving.....I was hoping that since my kids are getting older that maybe they would get over wanting to carve pumpkins.  I was only wishing.  They still wanted to do it.  I folded laundry while they carved hoping that there would be no knife incidents.

It's been a beautiful fall and now it is time to gear up for winter.  We've already had our first snowstorm and I gearing up for a lot of hot chocolate and sitting by the fire.
