Christmas this past year was heavenly. Knowing that I could have missed it all made it that much better. It was a typical Christmas at our house but at the same time I just couldn't help but feel so blessed to be there with my family. It was good to be home. Here are some pictures from our day.

And of course we had to take some time out to visit our little Porter. The NICU would only allow four visitors the whole time he was there. We put down my parents and Rob's Mom (his dad was sick so that bumped him right off the list) and Emily. She was the only one in the family that got to see him. Everyone else had to wait until he got home. We did try to take a lot of pictures and video so the kids at home could feel like they were a part too.

I look better here than I feel and I think I look pretty terrible. I was feeling pretty terrible too but feeling so grateful to have this man in my life. It turned out to be a good Christmas after all... and I didn't even have to repel from my hospital window to be there :).
Thank you for sharing this special Christmas. What a blessed Christmas you had! I'm so happy that you all are healthy and doing well now.
