Our July
This month flew by. Busy, busy, busy.....that's been our month but it has been a good kind of busy. It started with the fourth of July which is always a pretty low key holiday for us. We usually barbecue, eat ice cream, and watch our local fire works and then come home and do a few of our own. We celebrated Rob's birthday this month with a cake of his choice...pecan cake. This was also pretty low key but we sure do love this guy. We also went to watch the angel Moroni go on our temple. It was rainy and really windy at first so we had to wait two hours to watch it be put on but we knew this was a once in a life time opportunity so we waited patiently. Rob and I and all of our kids were there (except Brandon who was at football) but Jacob was off wandering with friends so this was the best I could do. How blessed we are to have a temple in our community. We have really enjoyed driving by each day and watching the improvements that are being made. Ammon turned the big three this month and I wonder where time has gone. He has been such a fun little dude in our family. He is definitely starting to get a mind of his own and we are always laughing at things he says or does. We also spent ten days traveling to Mount Rushmore and then on to Nauvoo where we were able to spend some time with Rob's parents and brother. My parents also came so we had a pretty big group. We had a great time....the drive was way too long but the kids did great....even with no DVD player for the way to Nauvoo.
Looks like a fun trip!! We missed you though.
